THE 1ST EMERGE ART EXHIBITION-COMPETITION JULY 29-30,2011

Tonight was the first night of the show. 8000 sq  feet and 40' high walls. Great place to hold a show, and the art looked great on the walls. Here are a some pics of the show tonight.

Spent the whole day driving all over LA looking for a roll of unstretched canvas. The supply store i usually get it has been out of stock and just can't keep up with my needs. turns out unstretched canvas is a rarity in LA. I'll be ordering supplies online from now on. cheaper that way, only thing is I gotta wait for it so ill have to order ahead of time. Here is the painting I have been working on. it is 48"x48"

Chocolate and Art Show, July 22, 2011

I was featured in the chocolate and art show last night. They had a huge turnout. Hear are some shots of my art hanging, Art was being displayed in 2 buildings and a center outdoor section where my art was displayed, which is in the photos.

Exhibits

I have been getting ready for a couple exhibits coming up. One is this friday and the second is the following weekend. I will be showing at the Chocolate and Art Show in Los angeles. Today I finished this painting. it is 60"x72" or 5'x6' acrylic on canvas. here is the finished work.

it is 5'x6' canvas. I had trouble building this canvas. Had to unstretch it and start over again, then having to cut more wood to add more support. I lost a day to this but it is good to go now. Here is where the painting is so far.
